在演讲中，Westbank 的创始人 Ian Gillespie 将分享公司对橡树林的愿景 – 温哥华最具代表性的新市中心及北美最具创举性的低碳社区项目之一，将其打造成温市的新文化中心。
橡树岭将成为世界上同类项目中最具可持续性的项目之一，把自然融入城市环境成为其核心，并容纳 6,000 多名居民及 3,000 名专业人士。项目将於近 10 英亩公园内重新种植 1,400 多棵树木，并由 Creative Energy 的社区能源系统供电。橡树岭位于温哥华的地理中心，天车加拿大线可直达，橡树岭建成后预计每年将吸引超过 4000 万名游客。
