继2022年成功举办第二届世界中医药针灸文化周后，加拿大中医之家与加拿大华人联合总会再度联手，将于2023年6月18日–6月24日举办第三届世界中医药针灸文化周。本届世界中医药针灸文化周将以“守正创新、引领发展”为主题，旨在通过本次活动，更好继承和坚守正统的中医药文化，推广和传播高效的中医药精华，并在遵循中医药发展规律的基础上，因时因地制宜利用外部有利环境，不断融合创新，以加快改进和完善发展模式，最终推动中医药产业在海外蓬勃发展，为当地民众提供优质、高效的中医针灸服务。

中医药针灸为全人类健康做出重要贡献，在治未病、医疗、康复及养生等现实生活领域，发挥重要作用，如何发挥中医药针灸优势，服务全球各国民众，以建设中医药针灸国际医疗服务体系，使各国更大范围、更高水平、更深层次地开放交流，融合与创新，成为现代中医领域管理者和从业者、海外华人和全世界中医爱好者，共同追求的新目标。弘扬中医药针灸文化，不但助益于促进世界文化交流、增进族群互相了解，更应担当为世界民众医疗养生，保驾护航的重要使命。加拿大中医之家与华联会已连续共同成功主办了两届“世界中医药针灸文化周”，活动内容广泽世界中医界及民众，引起了极大反响和获得广泛好评，并得到加拿大BC省政府的高度赞赏与支持。有鉴于此，加拿大中医之家再度联手华联会，继续举办2023“第三届世界中医药针灸文化周”。
“文化周”将推介一系列活动，包括开幕式，BC省中医发展圆桌会议；面向广大民众的中、英文中医文化推广项目，含健康养生讲座、太极拳功法等；邀请国医大师院士、着名中医药针灸大家和专业教授学者，举办中、英文专业讲座；邀请科技、文化、教育等领域顶级专家学者、社会知名人士，进行相关多面向的主题讲座等；中医药针灸成果展示暨义诊活动；大中医理念落地实施展示活动。
“文化周”将邀请加拿大三级政府政要、总领馆、各大社团、文化团体、学校、企业、传媒、西医协会、国医大师、着名中医药针灸大家、西医专家教授学者、与健康专业有关的教授学者及社会各界人士与会。端此函请钧座，拨冗出席为感。

Dear Sir/Madam,
Following the success of the 2nd World Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Culture Week held in 2022, the Home of Canadian Traditional Chinese Medicine Society (HCTCMS) and the co-host organization Canadian Community Service Association (CCSA), will once again join forces to hold the 3rd World Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Culture Week from June 18th to June 24th, 2023. The theme of this Culture Week is “Staying True to Tradition while Innovating and Leading Development of the Profession”. The aim is to better inherit and adhere to the classical orthodox culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), to promote and disseminate the essence of TCM philosophy, and on the basis of adhering to the regulation development for Traditional Chinese Medicine profession, creating favourable environment to continuously integrate innovation, accelerating improvement and perfection of the development, and ultimately promoting the Traditional Chinese Medicine industries in both Canada and international territories, so communities around the world can enjoy high-quality and effective TCM treatment services.

This week-long event will include the open ceremony, the announcement of newly established TCM development organization, the round table discussion on advancing BC’s TCM development, the round table discussion on TCM and Western Medicine collaboration framework, and many more TCM/MD online presentations on a variety of topics that include health preservations, expert lectures, and Tai Chi exercises, in either English or Chinese. The guest speakers include China’s TCM masters and their teams of TCM experts, renowned TCM experts and scholars across the world, and accomplished TCM practitioners. During the event, we will also setup collaborated TCM/MD demonstration clinic within the local community, offering open and free medical advice to the public. Newly introduced this year will be a series of activities to showcase HCTCMS’ continuous efforts to further TCM development, promotion, and integration with multiple levels of the communities. Worthy to note, the 2022 World TCM & Acupuncture Culture Week received over 3 million online views. We expect this year’s event to have even greater success.
This invitation extends to guests from all three-level of Canadian governments, consulates, major associations, cultural groups, educational institutions, industries, media, and, of course, available online to everyone across the world. Please join us to witness, to participate, and to celebrate together in this 2023 annual TCM event.
